Descrizione

The course offers an in-depth overview of sustainable finance, with a focus on green finance and related financial instruments. It aims to provide a strong understanding of current and emerging European regulations while equipping participants with interdisciplinary financial and legislative skills, such as asset allocation, portfolio management, and legal consultancy—essential for navigating the rapidly evolving green finance landscape.
Participants will study key debt instruments like green bonds, climate bonds, green loans, and green project financing, alongside investment tools such as green funds and equity instruments like green indices and ETFs. The course also examines European regulations, including the SFDR, distinguishing between shared standards and mandatory rules.
As sustainable finance grows rapidly, with varied interpretations of European regulations across countries, this course addresses the need for structured academic training. It targets financial practitioners, bankers, consultants, industry associations, and those seeking financial education, serving both as professional development and a foundation for expertise.
Starting with an introduction to sustainable finance and its historical milestones, the course highlights the European context and offers clear definitions of green and climate finance. By promoting best practices, it aims to help participants integrate green finance strategies into their professional roles effectively.
